Established in November of 2003, Prescott Medical Imaging (PMI) is a comprehensive medical diagnostic imaging center located in Northern Arizona. The facility is a cooperative effort between Prescott Radiologists and Yavapai Regional Medical Center.
PMI is a full-service diagnostic imaging center offering the latest technology, resulting in accurate and responsive services and testing. PMI's state-of-the-art radiology system provides clear imaging with low-dose radiation. Their high field strength MRI scanner renders sharp, clear body and brain scans and their multichannel CT scanning allows superb multiplanar imaging for clear, crisp images.
Digital technology provides significant benefits. The images are easily computer enhanced, reducing the need for repeat exams and providing the best detail for each patient and their healthcare provider.
PMI also offers ACR certified, low-dose digital mammography utilizing equipment designed by Hologic, a leading developer, manufacturer and supplier of premium diagnostic products and imaging systems created specifically to address the healthcare needs of women. The radiologists at PMI have performed over 50,000 mammograms. The center also offers a high-resolution breast ultrasound and high-field breast MRI to compliment mammography.
Professional service at PMI are provided by nine radiologists, all are specialists and board certified by the American Board of Radiology. Collectively, they have over 60 years of experience in diagnostic imaging. Several have advanced training with additional fellowships in MRI, Nuclear Medicine and Vascular and Interventional Radiology. All PMI technologists are state and nationally certified.
